Mid-Autumn Tea Party for Chinese and Foreign Teachers and Students at Pu'er College
On September 14th, as the Mid-Autumn Festival approached, Pu'er College held a Chinese-style tea party for both Chinese and foreign teachers and students. The event aimed to promote and showcase the excellent traditional Chinese culture, tell Chinese stories well, enrich the cultural life of foreign teachers and students effectively, and strengthen the communication and interaction between them.
The Mid-Autumn Festival is a traditional Chinese holiday that carries people's beautiful aspirations for reunion, harmony, and happiness. The moon-cakes of the Mid-Autumn Festival symbolize reunion and completeness; the moon of the Mid-Autumn Festival embodies people's sentiments of missing.
Today's event has allowed teachers and students from various countries to better experience the harmonious and inclusive Chinese culture, further deepen mutual understanding, enhance friendship among each other, and share more Chinese stories with their families and friends. This enables more people to understand and recognize China.
